ADM and the AMC
Well, for those of you who have put the clues together, you might have deduced that the members of ALEPH DELTA MAO (clue #2) decided to grow out mustaches (clues #4, 5) for the Hebrew month of Kislev (clue #1). We also decided that cucumbers were still vegetables (clue #3), but that had no real relevance. We called this the AMC, or American Mustache Confederation, although the Israelis thought it was a Competition.
The rules: members of the AMC would grow mustaches for the entire month. Shaving must be done to all areas of the face, other than the mustachial region, every three days, and on Fridays for the Shabbat. And...that's about it. The members who participated were me, Micah, Josh, and Jamin', and Ilan participated at the very end, namely, the photographing of the Shaving Ceremony.
I think that's about it. Enjoy some pictures of the shaving. Note the pre-shave mustache faces are sad, angry, bad-ass, or even, in Jamin's case, "grandpa." Also, note the happy, almost forced-happy, look of the clean-shaven pictures. Finally, note the collected mustache hair in the sink.
It was a lot of fun, even if we were sometimes ridiculed. But it was a blast. We laughed, we cried, we itched a lot, but it was a whole lotta fun. So there.

Now, exactly how much are we paying for you to attend this yeshiva?? And, for our money I get to see my son accumulate hair follicles on his upper lip? Yoni, maybe it was your moustache that scared away your study partners...or your growly faces. So glad to see you are all spending your time together so wisely!! Again, you all are a riot--Benjamin, good to see you--I always wanted you to make it into a good fraternity. Now I can boast to the family what neat things you are doing your year in Israel...Tina!
So, Benjamin you finally took my fluorescent advice. Yup thats right you GREW OUT A MUSTACHE. I told you it was a good idea, but nooooooo, you said it would look stupid so finally you took the advice. Oh, and Yoni thanks for knocking some sense into my big bro.
